Class A CDL Route Driver (Local- Home Nightly) 

 Pay: $23-$26/hr 

 Hours: 4:30am-5:00am till done 

 This job requires a qualified Class A CDL driver to oversee daily collection of waste tire with the assistance of a Driver Helper. Routes are assigned by dispatch; however it is the responsibility of the driver to successfully manage the loading and transportation of waste tire to the home facility. Included in this position will be the responsibility to complete all DOT required paperwork and company paperwork at each collection site. Drivers may at times be responsible for transporting monies received at collection sites from customers who are on a cash only basis. Driver must comply with all of FMCSA regulations at all times during their employment. 

 Key Job Responsibilities: 

• Possess knowledge and experience to operate a variety of tractors within DOT guidelines
• Understand and know safe lifting techniques to lift and load tires of all sizes (personal vehicle, truck and tractor tires) 
• Knowledge and understanding of navigating with local maps
• Manage and supervise additional employees (driver helpers) that are assigned to the route
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude in demanding situations
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to dispatch through the successful completion of  

 DVIR’s; maintain clean, safe equipment

Maintain accurate “Driver Log” within FMCSA regulations

Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety standards 

Other duties will be assigned as necessary by the company 

Educational and job experience requirements: 

High school Diploma or GED equivalent. Requires (2) years over-the-road experience. 

Abilities required: 

Lift up to and including fifty (50) pounds (50+ requires assistance) on a routine basis
