Position requirements:

• 18 years of age
• Lift up to 60 pounds up to shoulder height
• Move handcart with up to 600 pounds of product
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, bins, stairs, top of bulk trailers and ramps
• Basic math and English reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Forklift certification (will be earned on the job)

primary responsibilities:

• General housekeeping duties & maintain the cleanliness of equipment
• Accurately complete manufacturing processes to meet our quality & FDA standards such as:

• Receiving/inspecting bagged/bulk ingredients and finished products
• FDA tracking and record keeping
• Mixing of bagged/bulk products
• Capturing product samples when bagging or bulk loading finished products
• Receiving, blending, and shipping grain and manufactured feed
• Maintain inventory accuracy to minimize product shrink
• Friendly and courteous customer interaction

Work Conditions:

• Environmental conditions: dust, wind and inclement weather
• Warehouse or bulk storage location such as a grain facility or bulk ingredient storage
• Uneven or slippery work surfaces
• Multiple work levels: ladders, stairs, and ramps
