Job Description

Dispatcher

  • Process and dispatch transfer truck each morning
  • Backup to dispatcher
  • Schedule carriers for inbound freight
  • Approve freight invoices
  • Schedule LTL pick up for delivery
  • Reconcile fuel purchases
  • Trip report entry
  • Monitor and print warehouse transfers
  • Process month end paperwork
  • Assist with driver files
  • Scale trucks in and out for bulk deliveries
  • Process bulk load paperwork
  • Assist with other duties in Transport Department as needed
  • Assist in company store when time permits
  • Other duties as assigned
