Description/Responsibilities
•
The employee visually monitors extractors, sizers and conveyors within
various processing equipment
• Quality checks are performed at least 3 times per hour
• The work can be very fast paced as the machines can jam-up quickly when
running specific types of product
• There are 2 CCE employees on each shift, as there are 2 Extraction machines
operating simultaneously
• Requires functional understanding of mechanical operations within the
machine and understanding of product flow to determine likely locations where
blockages may occur
• Need to visually identify blockages on reflective metallic surfaces to
determine when acceptable cleanliness is achieved
• Need to have functional ability to operate a computer workstation to enter
data as needed and to document time of their routine inspections

Requirements:
• Will experience occasional above shoulder height reaching of 60” when
interacting with compute control consoles to adjust machine settings
• Above shoulder reaching with light forces, not lifting objects above
shoulder heights
• Employee can either sit or stand throughout the majority of the shift-
expected to stand constantly and sit occasionally on a stool besides the
control console
• Experiences minimal lifting of step ladders weighing 35# from floor level
to approx. waist high (32”)
• Will be lifting specialized cleaning equipment during the CIP process,
requiring to lift up to 62#, using an upward pulling motion when hauling a
mobile cleaning machine up a stairway
• The employee is responsible for completing various CIP task every 21 days
as needed, generally involving control panel operation and spraying down
machine surfaces using pressurized water hoses

12/hr Rotating Shift (Overtime as needed)
• The position would be on a 2-2-3 rotation from either 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 4
p.m. to 4 a.m. dependent upon the shift placement.
